DESCRIPTION:[Yes\, we know it’s last year’s poster.  When they send us the new one\, we’ll put it up!] \nThe 79th Annual Seal Beach Lions Community Fish Fry will take place on July 13 and 14th in Eisenhower Park by the Pier. Bands will play continuously on Saturday from 11-7 pm and Sunday from 11-6 pm. Besides the famous Lions Fish & Chips\, we will be serving Bratwurst and Cajun Sausage sandwiches along with Jumbo Hot Dogs. Ice cold Beer\, Wine and Wine-a-Ritas will be served from the beer garden. Prizes donated by local merchants are given away every hour for those supporting the opportunity drawing. \nEntry is free and donations are welcome. This is a 100% volunteer run event with all proceeds going to Sight and Hearing preservation and improving our community. DESCRIPTION:The Seal Beach City Council generally meets on the second and fourth Monday of each month. \nThis meeting schedule can change\, particularly in months with national holidays\, so be sure to check the status of a meeting at the agenda link below. Make sure to check the agency’s website also for the latest protocols on in-person and/or virtual attendance. \nCity Council meeting agendas are published online and in the city clerk’s office no later than the Friday before the city council meeting date. Agendas are also posted in the kiosk adjacent to the council chamber doors. \nLATEST AGENDAS: CLICK HERE \nMEETING MINUTES: CLICK HERE \nMEETING TIME: The council’s regular meeting typically begins at 7 p.m. If there are any closed session items\, that portion of the meeting usually begins around 5:30 p.m. \nMEETING LOCATION: City Council Chambers at 211 Eighth Street. \nThe meeting can be viewed on local cable television channel 3 or on the city’s website. \nPUBLIC COMMENT: Residents can submit comments on any item via email to the city clerk at gharper@sealbeachca.gov or via the comment icon through the online portal.  All email comments the city clerk receives before the start of the meeting will be posted on the city website and distributed to the council. Email comments received after the start of the meeting will be posted on the city’s website and forwarded to the city council after the meeting. \nThe in-person public comments portion of the meeting is towards the beginning of open session.
