DESCRIPTION:Accepting Art Applications until Friday\, March 8. \nPlease submit to Cassidy Figueroa at cfigueroa@cityoflosalamitos.org\nThis year’s event will be held at the Oak Middle School Multi-Purpose Room located at 10821 Oak St.\, Los Alamitos\, CA 90720 \nSaturday\, March 16th from 12:00 – 6:00 p.m. \n& \nSunday\, March 17th from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. \nAward Ceremony to be held Sunday\, March 17 at 6:30 p.m. \nArt Drop Off Location: Oak Middle School – Multi Purpose Room. 10821 Oak Street\, Los Alamitos\, CA 90720 \nArt Drop off: Friday\, March 15 3:30-8:30 pm \nArtwork Pick Up: Sunday\, March 17 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. \nArtwork not picked up 2 weeks after the conclusion of the event\, will be donated. \nObjective: Our goal is to produce a show that provides each exhibitor the opportunity to show his or her work\, supports the creation of original art and craft\, and fosters art appreciation. \nAbout the Exhibition: \n\nThe exhibition will be held at the Oak Middle School – Multi Purpose Room.\nThe facility is located at 10821 Oak Street\, Los Alamitos\, CA 90720\n\nExhibitions will be available for viewing: \n\n\n\nSaturday\, March 16\, 2024\, from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.\nSunday\, March 17\, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.\n\n\n\n  \n\nThe City does not charge an exhibition fee or receive a commission.\nThe City’s insurance does not cover art exhibitions. Furthermore\, the City of Los Alamitos is not responsible for any damage\, loss\, or theft that may occur to Artist’s work while it is being displayed in the Community Center gallery.\nArtists must self-insure for damage\, loss\, or theft to their work.\nArtwork description cards will be placed next to the artwork. Cards will be created and provided by the City.\n\nAwards: \n\nA closing ceremony will be held on Sunday\, March 17 at 6:30 pm. Winners will receive a ribbon\, certificate\, and gift card to the Art Supply Warehouse in Westminster in Westminster.\n\n1st place – $100 gift card\n2nd place – $50 gift card\n3rd place – $25 gift card\n\n\nWinners will be contacted starting Saturday\, March 16 after the conclusion of judging.
