Lorenz Krueger

Lorenz grew up in Seal Beach and graduated from Huntington Beach High School. He graduated from Long Beach State with a B.A. and M.A in public speaking and oratory. He became a college professor and taught from 1989 to 2020 when he retired. During this time, he opened two restaurants, Tsunami Sushi in Huntington Beach and the Abbey on Main Street in Seal Beach. He co-authored a book on the Piers of California Coast where he wrote the history of the Seal Beach and Belmont Shore piers. He loves the history of our town and is proud to be a part of the Seal Beach Historical Resources Foundation.
